Surprise!

After ten years of talking about it, Mel and I have finally decided to fulfill our dream of traveling the coast of the U. S. in our RV.

Because so many have inquired about communicating with us while on our adventure, we have set up this web log or blog to post our travel diary and photos. If you are interested in following our progress, please share your email address at nancy.karasek@gmail.com. Needless to say, we are ecstatic about this challenge.

By the way, for my book reading friends, Mel is limiting me to ten books so I am challenging you to send me a list of your must-haves. I will compile the selections and share the results with you. These books do not include maps, atlases, travel or camping guides or cookbooks as they are required for our survival on the road. I am really looking forward to your creativity on this one. Right now I have two copier paper boxes full of books I can’t live without or have wanted to read when I got the chance so I need to do some winnowing.
