Hello, the blog is back. The edition is brought to you by Mel.
After years of nagging, I finally have taken Nancy on that cruise she wanted. Here we are island hopping from Cedar Island, NC to Cape Hatteras National Seashore on the Outerbanks of North Carolina. The ocean is wavy but no seasickness for this old salt, Nancy either. This cruise line is pretty accomodating. They let us bring our RV and Jeep along. I don't know why you cruise people think a cruise is such a big deal. It only cost me $45.00 to make Nancy's dream come true. I thought the accomodations were a bit rough but everyone to their own taste. To see what I mean scroll down.

Here is the dining room. I always heard that the food was soooo fantastic but it seemed like slim pickens to me. As for the fantastic entertainment, we were promised a video, but it never ran. You can see our RV outside the window. So we retreated to our stateroom, which oddly looked just like our RV bedroom. Fortunately, we were able to plug in the battery powered TV. We caught up on some our favorite shows that Nancy had taped. That helped pass the time on our three hour cruise.

Here is another view of the dining room. If you look real close you can see our Jeep out the window. I don't like coffee but you folks who like your lattes would have been impressed with this.

Anyway, I just hope that Nancy is satisfied now and won't be crabbing anymore about a cruise. Been there, done that.
