Italian Street Performer at EPCOT

We had a busy day Wednesday, February 1st. We went off property to have lunch at one of our favorite Orlando restaurants, Race Rock. We decided to take time from our fun schedule to go to Best Buy to return the defective DirecTV receiver. They accepted the return without question but I had all the documentation of what we have been through with us just in case.
We had made plans with my friend, Elizabeth, to meet her and her aunt and uncle at EPCOT's Italy at 3 p.m. Elizabeth is from Chicago and we met at one of the many personal development classes offered to me through the RTA. We found out we worked in buildings next door to each other so we started having lunch together on occasion. She was on vacation in Orlando with Uncle Augie and Aunt Virginia from Oak Park.
Once we found each other, we started touring EPCOT. It is always fun for Mel and me to take people through the parks. We love to get the reactions of people to the wonders of Disney. It makes us see Disney with new eyes as we make sure that people see the best that Disney has to offer.
One of the new things that we got to do was to dine at the Mexico restaurant, which looks like an outdoor patio under the stars with wonderful music to accompany dinner. We give credit to Uncle Augie and Aunt Virginia, who are in their 80's. There is a lot of walking in EPCOT and they were troopers. They were able to stay for Illuminations. EPCOT's laser and fireworks show.
We weren't ready for the evening to end so when the park closed, we went to the Grand Floridian Hotel, where we ate pastries from Norway that Elizabeth had bought as a treat for us. We had a great time with our new friends.
