Car Wash and Movies

Friday morning, we woke to overcast skies. In Miami? Then things brightened up, so Mel decided to wash the Jeep, while I worked on banking issues.

When we finished our chores, we stopped in at the campsite office to extend our stay for another week. It is so lovely here.

Since it was still cloudy, we decided to do more movies. We started with Casanova, a delightful frothy period romp and a very different and more enjoyable Heath Ledger and the beautiful Sienna Miller (what was Jude Law thinking?) and more beautiful Lena Olin. Lots of fun.

We moved onto Munich, a big movie with big questions-one person's terrorist is another person's freedom fighter-a movie that is good for you to see but not entertaining.

After 5 hours of movies, we were starved. We decided pizza would be our best bet on a Friday night. Alas, pizza doesn't appear to be a big food choice here in Miami so our pizza was so-so. Oh for a Bacino's! Put that on the things we miss about Chicago.
